Keyblctt Join Date Nov 2005 Posts 427 Senior Member	Cheap GPUs render strong passwords useless oh, it's MD5. Wouldn't SHA1 or SHA512 take a lot longer? And unless you have access to the actual hash of the password along with the salt, you wouldn't be able to solve it this fast because it takes time to make each guess. If you have physical access to a system which is what is required to get the hash and salt, then you can already consider your data to be toast.
