Hi guys,

I just need a bit of help with 3ds MAX. STR, you seem to know a lot about the program (lol), so you may be the best person to field this question, however if anyone else knows please tell me.

How can I drape an aerial image of New York over a 3D model of New York to give a fair representation of New York city? And where could I find the appropriate aerial imagery? Google Earth probably isn't very good, because it only shows one side of the buildings (although for a 3D image I'd be lucky to get any better).

Is there a way I could get two aerial images (two different angles) and "composite" them so that one covers one side of the buildings and the other image shows the other side of the buildings?

ALSO: How can I measure things to scale in MAX? I've heard that it's possible, but I don't know how the hell to do it.
