I have no idea how you get a refund from Paypal, but I can tell you that the editor of Techradar is a ****ing c**t. A smug, supercillious, belittling little twerp that was obviously bullied at school for many years and has turned into a nasty, snide, snipey little prick as a result of it. I know this because he was on the journalism team when I worked with him at Sky Sports.

You can detect this tone and in any of the articles he writes for TR.

You should be able to go to the resolution center at paypal and tell them the item you received is not what you paid for, and the item description was completely wrong, etc etc.

I'm not sure what they can do about it TBH since it was done outside of ebay, but if you basically did not get what you paid for and/or the goods were damaged(you fall into this category) then they should be able to claim a refund for you.

Could take a couple weeks though. Remember they don't do anything on weekends.

Risco,

Did you use funds associated with your Paypal account, or a credit card? Your bank and your credit card company have fraud prevention, and you can call them and request a chargeback. Paypal will have to abide.

He's one of only two people that I would genuinely describe as a c**t. Actually, that's not entirely fair. The general consensus among the Sky office was that as long as you didn't trust him with anything then he could be tolerated.

I have my credit card and bank account linked. Does not matter now though, I got an email telling me everyone is getting refunded inside 7 days.
