I was reading that one of the people claiming to be a winner was a woman who has 7 kids and works at McD's. Assuming that's true the American public should get a cut since we bought the ticket.

Huh? Are you referring to the fact she maybe on welfare? That's a big can of worms, what about public servants? What if a fireman won the lotto, would that also mean they should give some back to the taxpayers? Isn't the tax already on the lotto enough?
