Default Top Gear Special on tonight
Just a heads up for anyone that isn't aware it is on (as it isn't normally on Wednesdays).

In this year's Top Gear special, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May set out to boost the British economy by embarking on a trade mission to India. Equipped with three old British cars and a range of uniquely British products, they set off on an epic road trip across one of the world's most fascinating and challenging countries, devotedly promoting Britain with distinctly mixed results.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Beeb pull this tonight... They've been pulling anything that Clarkson appears in after his "One Show" joke that so many idiots complained about.

Hopefully it'll still be shown.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooo

That would be horrible! Top Gear is not Top Gear unless JC is making fun of everything and presenting his vastly opinionated and sometimes skewed opinion.

If you read the article that uh.....some high up from BBC I forget who says that simply BECAUSE of top gear they refuse to sack Clarkson because millions and millions of people tune in to watch it because of the humour he brings to the show, so the only reason they haven't fired him is for Top Gear. It would be silly of them to pull the program in that case. I'm sure it'll air on schedule.

I was actually gonna post a thread about this the other day when I ran into the news there was an India special on Wednesday this week, but I forgot to post it

Can't wait. I need me some more Top Gear. I was actually watching the last series again when at the end Jeremy mentions "We'll be back on boxing day with a special" and I was like "!!!!!!! THAT MEANS THERE IS PROLLY A SPECIAL THIS YEAR TOO" and yeah.

Yeah, that exec was making the case that Top Gear is currently the UK greatest cultural export (since Top Gear is watched by over 250m world wide).

30 minutes to go!!!!

Time to get everything else done and out of the way, make sure your beer is cold and the kids are asleep and the wife is tied up in the basement with duct tape over her mouth

Edit: Well that was thoroughly enjoyable. One of the best specials so far imo. I was lmfao so hard at some parts. Hilarious.[thumbup]

Since JC seems to be in trouble again, I assume that was the India special?

I didn't like the special. Why did they waste half the time on idiotic scripted challenges.

I loved the earlier specials.
