Claymore was a decent series.

If you're gonna watch Hellsing watch the ultimate remake. Much better IMO. Still 1 episode left to go I think.

I haven't seen a good gorey anime in a while. For me it's been mostly mahou shoujo type stuff. Or the borderline hentai type stuff like Queen's Blade. I'm just weird like that. They don't seem to make many good action series anymore. Nothing like Berserk anyway.

Seen Berserk Complete Collection on the site in my other posts, so might get that.

Not quite the same but you could try Blackjack, Golgo 13 and Perfect Blue. Neon Genesis Evangelion might be worth a look too. Then of course there is Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away but that's about as far from bloodthirsty violence as you can get. I've also got 3 SamuraiX DVD's but wasn't too impressed.

I want to get hold of "The Legent of the four kings". I remember watching tht when i was a teenager and that was good.

Grave of the fireflys is a great movie.
Ninja Scrolls is great aswell be carefull if you buy it on DVD as i think some are 4:3 aspect ratio.

I remember liking one of the Vampire Hunter D movies, i also liked Nausica Valley of the Wind, Princess monokee and the castle of cagliastro.
