Rumours from a friend who works in the media are that he was "involved" inappropriately with someone he shouldn't have been. Don't know any details though so could just be BS.

Could have been a 'gay' relationship or a friend's wife - whatever the reason, it's a shame he felt the only thing to do was to kill himself. I would hope his family, but not the press, find out why, so at least they'll know and not be thinking of all sorts of things to blame themselves for.
