Galnemer's conquest of the publishing world continues apace...

Didn't she JUST publish a novel?

ananciguinter 08-31-2010 04:20 AM

Yes on both counts, gentlemen. You've been paying attention. That is good. You both shall be valuable to me after the Glorious Revolution.

mr.supervideogoodfd 08-31-2010 04:24 AM

Jesus, she writes fast.

Congrats! http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif

Doesn't look like her work is geared towards either kids, desperately lonely teenage girls or religious nuts, so I'm afraid she'll not make millions.

Borrinas 08-31-2010 04:32 AM

I'll read it if Detroit gets blown sky high and takes GM, Ford and Dodge with it.

Yeah it took two re-readings before I got what the hell he was saying. My mind was like Blah?

1) It's Chrysler, not Dodge.

2) That's my hometown you're talking about, kiddo. Tread carefully; I didn't say exactly how you'd be useful to me during the Glorious Revolution.

But, she says:

If I write a third book, I'll blow up parts.

Don't think he likes her for the songs.

DraidodaRip 08-31-2010 04:55 AM

I don't know why anyone likes her. She's got an enlarged labia.

Alby hasn't heard of Katy Perry. Why am I not surprised.

ReginaPerss 08-31-2010 05:00 AM

It is important to support hot musicians or we will be left with unattractive ones. This is as fundamental as thermodynamics. Without her album revenue Katy Perry would be giving blowjobs all by herself. Ugly singers tend to be ones who don't mind that you torrent their stuff. It all works out in the end, like in Syriana http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif

Beauseaccerce 08-31-2010 05:05 AM

So I'm listening to "Ur So Gay" by Katy Perry http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...milies/lol.gif Why did I not know of this before?

cabonuserollyo 08-31-2010 05:16 AM

Was this an actual song? Like I see a video from Capitol Music but come on... this had to be some viral stuff. No one would release a song like this on an album http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...milies/lol.gif

Apparently she also has a song called I Kissed a Girl... a lot of homosexual stuff going on here.

She's not a good singer at all. I just skimmed through one of her live performances and actually, she's pretty damn terrible. She would get sent home from American Idol, clearly. How does that make you feel, Wiglaf?

I'm actually a little disappointed she's even apparently successful. She's not good at all. Maybe it was just a bad performance on Letterman?

Ke$ha? Oh, much better. To be fair to you, I only learned about that milestone in the skankification of America a couple of weeks ago, but good lord. That ****ing harpy is everything wrong with music today.
She gets absurd amounts of radio play here... I'm perplexed by one line of her's in particular that has been bothering me for months... She says something about kicking men to the curb unless they look like Mick Jagger... http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/scared.gif

Is there something I don't know?

http://content.mydamnchannel.com/dat...k%20jagger.jpg

Are my eyes deceiving me? Do women (or Kesha) have bizarre standards? Is there another Mick Jagger I don't know about?

Angry White American 08-31-2010 05:45 AM

I'm still waiting to buy her first book, autographed.

Zebrabitch 08-31-2010 07:05 AM

He said she would. Like I said, I'm still waiting for them to remember us little guys. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif

Moupponge 08-31-2010 07:15 AM

Yeah Guy, when you are in your mansion curing pediatric cancer while your wife arranges movie deals and franchising with suit-wearing executives, remember your [s]trolls[/s] friends on poly http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif

edit: bah, no strikethrough? lame

AffipgyncDync 08-31-2010 07:16 AM

Sorry Guy, I think this book came out way too fast. I'm going to wait for a couple of patches before I buy it.

D6b2v1HA 08-31-2010 08:00 AM

What is the magic potion your wife drinks in order to write books so quickly, and where can I get it? I could use it for all the college application essays I have to write this semester.
