Default Bear Trap
Just got back from a Florida golf trip. Played some great courses including the Champs course at PGA National, where they had the Honda the week before. The course was in incredible condition.
I played up and down but had an pretty good back nine. Got to the Bear Trap (15,16,17) and immediately hit my first ball in the drink against a 20 MPH wind and made 5. Parred in from there, making an incredible up and down on 16 (one of the top ten hardest holes I've ever played), lipped out a birdie putt on 17, and made a great par on the par 5 18th. The wind in Florida makes every golf course a test, but I played pretty well at some great courses.
My Golf Jones has been satisfied for now.

Parring holes on courses that host PGA tournaments? Jesus.

What's your handicap?

I'm going out on Friday with my dad. I haven't picked em up since early last summer. I have no clue what to expect. I used to get out a lot more and do enjoy it but it eats at me sometimes. Regardless of how poorly I shot it will still be fun to get out with my dad.

The course is pretty tough, but I don't play anywhere near the tees that the pros do. We played the course at about 6400 yards, and they play it at around 7000, but it plays considerably longer when the wind is blowing. The holes they call the "Bear Trap" are almost always into the wind, if it happens to be blowing. The week the pros played it, the wind was about 20 MPH and was gusting up to 40. We didn't have the gusts, but the wind was a steady 15-20 the whole time we were in Florida.
