I burned my foot a while back and couldn't wear shoes. So I played a round barefoot, Jim McMahon style. I was suprised at how little it was from playing in golf shoes. And walking on a green in bare feet is really cool.

a couple of buddies of mine got drunk one night and decided to play the back 9 at the course we worked at butt nekkid. I wish I could have told that story at the one's wedding (to a woman).

Not sure if they wore shoes though...

I am telling you man, it is the shit. I started doing it when I would play the extra 9 after golf practice and my feet would be killing me. I noticed how much more balance I had when I did it, so I kept doing it. You obviously lose a bit in power due to traction, but for me, I make up for it in balance and tempo.

1. My average drive is around 270
2. I made two holes in one in my career, within 10 days of each other
3. I shot a 112 in my first competitive round in college, and a 76 in my last round
4. I often golf without shoes (I take them off when I get on the course, and wear Birks on the greens)
5. I have three rounds under par on actual courses (meaning not par 3's or executives)
6. I taught golf right out of college in Wisconsin
The lie is #5. I have been under on 9, but my best score is 72 from back tees on a "real" course.

OK I'll do another.

1. I learned to play golf while spending the summer in Malaysia when I was 13.

2. Even though I was a 9 at the time, last summer I had back to back rounds of 69 (3 under) and 70 (1 under).

3. I once dropped a 92 foot putt at a time when I was a horrible golfer and shot 95 that day.

4. I once played a shot off a frozen lake water hazard and put it on the green, 20 feet from the cup.
