Default East Coast Vs. West Coast Buddies Trip
With all of the great golf along both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, which is the best place for a buddies vacation? My vote is the Pacific. You can bookend your trip with the #1 and #2 resorts (Bandon and Pebble) with plenty of great golf in between (Pasatiempo, Half Moon Bay, Harding Park, Sea Ranch, Baywood). Whats your vote.

Both areas have great golf. I am partial to the East Coast because of FL and the Carolinas, but that is just me.

East. I figure Myrtle Beach takes the cake so many courses in one area that are always giving deals to get more golfers.

East coast as the cost would be too great for me to fly out west to play, stay, and travel home etc.

I think a book ended pebble/bandon would be a once in a life time guys trip. The east offers some world class golf at affordable prices.

East coast, primarily because I don't have the means to get out west...and there are so many nice courses.

I think you should drive from one coast to the other and spend some time in the middle.

It's a Win/Win. Either is good also a lot of places in between the coasts. For us here, east coast is better just because it is close enough to drive so it would be easier to get a group together.

I have done this alone a couple of times and played some really good courses but it is a lot of driving between stops. Probably way too much driving for a buddy trip.

Only played the North East actually. I can't wait to play the South East and would love to play the west coast up and down.

Living in the Carolinas, this is pretty much a no brainer for me. Start in Southern VA and drive down to Florida and hit a few courses in every state!
