Hybirds?

Going to replace my 3 and 4 iron with hybrids. Just wanting your input of which manufacturer to buy from?

EscaCsamas 10-19-2011 04:49 AM

Any and all. Hit as many as you can.

kvitacencia 10-19-2011 04:51 AM

Like blugold said, hit everything. Don't limit yourself to a few brands.

Marat 10-19-2011 04:52 AM

Try all. I went from a Cleveland mashie to a Nike vr pro. Both are great hybrids but Nike is a little longer for me

I'm loving the Nike Machspeed right now, but first decide, do you like small fw style or more iron style and then go from there.

If you can think of a hybrid, I bet if you did an advanced search for the hybrid in the search tool you would find a ton of information.

Exactly. We have dozens of threads, and many reviews on the home page.

amusaasyday 10-19-2011 01:20 PM

Brand choice is very wide, not just limited to these brands

desmond001 10-19-2011 01:58 PM

Yip try as many as you can, I like the TM burner from 2008 but I'm always open to any when I'm in the market for any club

spoddersedpn 10-19-2011 03:08 PM

Demo all you can and read the many reviews here at THP. What is right for me, may not be right for you. I've been playing both the Adams a7 & a7OS this season with great results. Very straight and easy to hit. There is a great review thread here for the Adams a12 hybrid/irons. I've also been demo'ing Titleist 910 and Nike VR Pro hybrids as well. I'm liking the Titleist, just not sure I like the price.

Hit em all if you can and be sure to search the reviews here.

cauddyVab 10-19-2011 03:21 PM

Hit as many as you can, read about those hybrids here on THP, and then buy. It should be a fun process, good luck!

try a variety of them so you can see what feels best to you...just make sure you get one that works as well on the golf course as it does in the swing cage at the golf store. they didn't tell me mine wouldnt work on the golf course. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/banghead.gif http://www.thehackersparadise.com/fo...es/biggrin.png

JMHO I tried quite a few of them, current models and all, then finally settled on about 3 generations removed Titliest 585 H in 21 & 24 degree lofts and I haven't looked back. I love these clubs and they can be found fairly cheap just about any where and I don't feel that I give up anything to the newer clubs

I'm with ya on that, the vr pro is a great hybrid, I love mine

SweetCaroline 10-24-2011 01:53 AM

I'm loving the Yonex EZONE now and forever more

SantaClaus 10-24-2011 01:56 AM

I gotta throw out some love for the Boccieri Heavy Hybrids. Will not find them available to demo but if given a chance and they don't work out, they have a 30 day money back guarantee.

Well worth the risk IMO.

Tappin' from my iPad!

I have purchased a 2009 Taylormade Rescue 4 hybrid. Decided on Taylormade because I have hit them well in the past. Thx for the input everyone!

Accecyncphory 10-29-2011 09:15 PM

When you demo some hybrids be sure to try the Adams a12OS, you will be pleasantly surprised I am sure. Also check out the thread on the
testing currently going on on these clubs. http://www.thehackersparadise.com/fo...-Forum-Testing

Also purchased the 2009 TalorMade 3 hybrid. Took them on the course, and they both were very easy to hit, and got good distance...

You made a great choice, simply can't go wrong with rescues. I have a full set of them and love them, even though I've switched to the a12OS and really enjoy them as well. The Adams have been a tad more consistent for me with a little more distance, but the TM's will do well for you.
