Default How to not get tired through round
Since the beginning of last month I have been able to play at least 18 holes a week, but at 9 holes a time. I think my mind and body have gotten use to only playing 9 holes each time out. Last Sunday I played my first full round of 18 and after the 9th hole I was just drained. My mental game and mechanics slowly went down hill and got to the point I was taking double par on the last 4 holes.

Now I don't know if this has to deal with me going really hard during the first 9 holes or if my muscle memory and mind just arent used to playing a full 18. My main concern is next weekend I am going on a golf trip and going to play 36 holes on both Saturday and Sunday. I feel that based on my last round I may not make it through all the rounds and will not be able to keep up with the rest of my group.

Does anyone have suggestions for keeping an even strain and being able to mentally and physically last through a whole round? Or do I just need to get used to playing 18 holes every time I golf?
