For me golf is still about a month away, except for the simulator. Where is everybody playing this year. And for my Canadian friends, where are you playing??

Playing in good ol' Texas - pretty much year round except for the very brief annual freeze!

One month? That's optimistic my friend! We're still suffering from -30 days, and a foot of snow.
I'll probably hit up all my same municipal courses, and maybe a few pricier ones if I'm feeling good.
Kananaskis has some nice affordable courses I hear.

A month will be here before you know it and you'll be hitting the course We haven't played in a while mostly the BF's fault for his injuries We plan on playing courses in Tucson Arizona in a few weeks and maybe even the Big Island of Hawaii towards the end of the year

hopefully I don't have to wait another month. My clubs are getting new grips now. Maybe I can take a trip south in a couple weeks to play so i don't have to wait another month.

I'm going to Florida in april, that'll be my first round as in Moncton we currently have over 3-4ft of snow on the ground. Halifax which is 2 hrs away looks like they may open in a month. Talk about disappointing!

Vancouver mate, I've been out 6 times since mid January already. It's still plenty wet through so there's absolutely no roll out but the accurate chippers are having a field day.

It's also beautiful out there, too bad it's all the way across the country!

Agreed lcsmrtn.

Next time I go back to see family we should head out (I;m from Halifax originally and all my family is in NS/NB)

Bobby:
Yup, excellent golf on the island. IMO they have better courses then Vancouver for the most part (except the super high end ones. There's a lot of those over here and they're just spectacular).

My 2nd annual Golfmageddon trip will be a jaunt over to the island for 5 straight days.

Hmm... thinking about today. About 65* and not a cloud in sight. I could get used to this, but our weather is so unpredictable. I'm thinking we might have one moree snowfall before winter is over here.

We usually have something open around here by late March / early April. Yesterday I hit balls for the first time in months (not counting Golftown). I was in Moncton and stopped by their Soccer dome.
I'm going to Myrtle Beach at the end of March.

It's been about 12 years since I've been out there. I played Cordova Bay, Gorge Vale, Victoria Golf Club, Royal Colwood, Arbutus Ridge, Mt.Brenton Golf Club and Olympic View. I've heard there are some really nice new ones out there now. I'll have to wait till the kids grow up now!!
