Wooooo! So happy right now! It was a 9 hole stableford off the back tees open to anyone that won a mid-week qualifier over the summer.
I shot level par gross over 9 holes...and that was after starting double bogey, bogey. So a final stableford score of 26 points, pretty much the best I've ever played (although thats only over 3 months). Prize money....£275 to spend in the pro shop ![]() EDIT: here's the card, http://www.oobgolf.com/golfers/score.php?id=1294710 |

And some pretty impressive stats as well, especially greens and putting! GIR+1 is if you hit a par 4 green in 3 or a par 3 in 2 shots etc... Basically it's a better stat to track if you're a bogey golfer. The GIR-1 is if you hit a green under regulation i.e. a par 5 in 2 or par 4 in 1 |

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I do indeed feel very fortunate that I've had this much success already. Thanks for explaining it. -JP |
