Id love to hear his best "fix" or what he recommends to the "over the top" swinger. There seems to be a lot of ways to attach this, what the first and best place to start?

And tell me about lag. What is it and how does it help me and my swing?

I've been enamored w/ left wrist action lately, and it's something I look to work on soon. When I'm off, I fade/slice.

I believe the left wrist is the main culprit. I just didn't know it.

How important is a flat and/or bowed wrist during the backswing, at the top of the backswing, and all the way through impact?

Also, just in trying it out a little bit at a simulator, keeping the wrist bowed at the top of the backswing is quite uncomfortable. So much so that I find I'm stopping my backswing short to about a three quarter backswing. Is that normal, or am I doing something incorrect? Such as grip? or grip pressure?

If you were to make a recommendation to a pro in order to 'fix' or 'improve' their swing, who would it be and what would you tell them to do?

What are some good drills to help with rolling the wrist, to square the clubface?

Mr. Ritter, if you weren't a golf instructor and couldn't have a career in golf, what would you be doing for a living?

What would your "Sunday" outfit consist of on the golf course?

How much of an amateurs practice time should be dedicated to the short game (pitching/chipping/putting)?

What's in your mind right before you start your backswing?

Could you have done a better job with Charles Barkley?

This is a great interview. Aside from his teaching, his swing is considered to be the model for the One Plane Swing. I have friends working on the OPS that watch Jeff Ritter videos in order to know the correct positions.

It is interesting he lists stack and tilt on his website in addition to OPS, sure the swings have a similar plane but have some differences with the movement of the hips, maybe you can ask him to compare and contrast the differences from his perspective. I would be very interested in hearing that, along with many other people I think.

I would also like to know if he was starting a player from scratch, say a kid who has never swung a club, what method would he teach him, OPS, S&T, or something else.

Who on tour has the best swing in his opinion? And why?

What myths of golf would he like to see abolished, like keep your head down, or others?

I have more.... but I don't want to take up all your time. I am guessing you will ask a few of everyones and these are my main questions.

Next week on in the Rough W/ JB & GG, we have a very special guest on and that is Jeff Ritter. If you do not know the name, check him out via google. He is a top 100 golf instructor according to a few publications and has a unique approach and delivery that helps so many people. Here is his website About Jeff Ritter - Golf Teaching Professional - Stack and Tilt Golf - One Plane Swing.

This is your chance to ask for help from a very special teacher and then we will take some questions to him and he will answer them on the show. If you do not want to post them, you are welcome to PM GG or myself those questions as well.

A simple question: What is the most common swing-wrecking flaw he sees in his students?

Ask him to explain "plane" in plain english. Also what are the ball flights when a golfer is on, above, or below their correct plane. It would help to understand cause, effect, and a on course cure.
