For now, I just have 1 driver. As a matter of fact, I only have 1 of each club

I feel that way about irons far more than drivers. Drivers can be changed out relatively easy in my opinion
I agree. I have 4 in my stable at the current time. TM Burner, TM R7 460, Nike Sumo2, and TM R580. I normally only play the Burner or the R7, but I have been known to pull the other two just for funzies. It takes about 3 or 4 swings to start hitting them ok.

I have a Cobra that has been my go to driver for the last couple of years, but whenever he got disobedient, I would rotate him out for a round or two just to let him know I mean business. I think he will be retired this year, I just picked up a Nike SQ5900 that was on sale that I was killing at the indoor range.

I have 7 or 8, mostly older and not worth much on ebay so I keep them as reminders of what I played from era to era. Recently I reshafted a pristine Powerbilt Super Citation 240cc persimmon driver with a Graphite Design shaft and it's a blast to use.

I got rid of everything above 400cc and that was a great move. I hate them and can't hit them so there's no need to pretend otherwise. I have two newer drivers in the 365-400cc range but recently I've been gaming my TaylorMade 320Ti, which is shaped like a huge fairway wood so it works well for me. I can take a lash with that club, with the Prolite burgundy stiff shaft. The other day I had drives of 254, 256 and 283 (downwind), all very good for me. But I still can't turn it right to left dependably like my 3 wood or 3+.

3 "real" drivers (a couple of inexpensive drivers in the basement from beginner sets that won't ever get used again), but I only keep 1 in the my bag at a time. I don't see my current one leaving my bag anytime soon.

Which reminds me, I need to update my signature . . .

With the i-mix, evolver type set-ups you think we will see a lot less drivers sold? A decent shaft plus installation costs almost as much as a driver these days, so for me anyway I prefer to just buy a different driver.

But I can imagine that if a Driver I really liked had a interchangeable shaft, and adjustable set up, I would be more likely to have a collection of shafts and use them. A straight-fit, i-mix combination would be perfect.

I guess it's time for me to update - I am hitting a Big Bertha 454, which I guess now is 4-5 year old technology. My last driver, a Big Bertha 2004, sits in the corner of this room, unused.
