Default A few resources on The Quran
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

(1)
I recently found an awesome link which contains very high quality recitations of the famous Qurra, past and present: http://www.althkr.com/en/44/Mahmoud-Khalil-Alhosari/

I would recommend old Egyptian reciters (e.g. Shaykh Khaleel Husary, Shaykh Minshawi) over popular and contemporary reciters (e.g. Shaykh Shuraim/Sudais/Abu Bakr Shatry) for those wanting to correct and purify their recitations. Just listen to Shaykh Husary's Fatiha and you will know what I am saying. Egypt Zindabaad!

(2)
If you attended the recent Bayyinah Dream course (London), you will know that the Quran is a linguistic miracle, a sea of eloquence and rhetoric and a proof of the Divine. Some of the linguistic features can be found on this website: http://www.linguisticmiracle.com/. It borrows almost exclusively from Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan's lectures/seminars/classes. Also contains links to the Bayyinah tafseer series.

(3)
My Arabic teacher (Ustadh Alomgir Ali) recently started a weekly Tafseer class, the recordings of which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/user/1UmmahTv...BADAC7D3E97551

He is using material from 23 tafseers which are listed here on his blog: http://abuqutaybah.wordpress.com/201...oks-of-tafsir/

Hope you benefit from the above inshaAllah. I leave you with some ahadith:

[A] The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it to others.[Al-Bukhaari]

[B] Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allaah, he will have a reward, and this reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that 'Alif, Laam, Meem' is a letter, rather I am saying that 'Alif' is a letter, 'Laam' is a letter and 'Meem' is a letter. [At-Tirmithi]

[C] Indeed the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. As for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward. [Al-Bukhaari & Muslim]

Wassalam
