Assalamu alaykum

I have observed some muslim brothers who don't wear skull cap (topi) for salah and outside salah. The decision is up to them. But what hurts me is that when need arises they wear the baseball or cricket cap, with the shade part behind.

Like

1. while wearing a helmet.
2. When some one shaves his head (for umrah or haj or due to other reasons).
3. While wearing a turban (amama) (they are aware that it sunnah to wear a cap under the amama)

Even Dr. Zakir naik sahib wears a white knitted topi.

Other day during nikah ceremony, all the ulema on the stage were wearing caps except the bride groom.

If any of brothers on this forum have enquired the reason for this hatred towards conventional (islamic) cap, then can share it here.
