Assalamu alaykum InshAllah I'm wanting to comprehend more about tassawuf, im not seeking to practice it but only have an awareness of it inshallah. I was taking a look at this sequence of shaikh zulfiqar: http://www.tasawwuf.org/shaykh/silsilah.htm It states that the prophet salallhu alayhi wassalam taught tassawuf to it was taught by abu bakr who to salman al farisi an such like. Im really interested to visit a more in depth record of the inshAllah and the recommendations because of it etc. Also the essential ideas of tassawuf plus a summary of every separate tarriqa and how they vary within their practices. Please recommend books, posts, educators an such like
