![]() I've never been to one of these conventions, and I always imagined they would separate the two genders. So its not worth going?(not that I planned on it). Why do famous speakers like Yasir Qadhi, Nouman Ali Khan etc... go if there's so much fitna. |

![]() Most probably due to the fact that there is a large Muslim audience. The scholars themselves don't mingle among the mixed conference members. Even Deobandi ulama have given lectures and talks at mixed conferences because of the fact that there are thousands of Muslims present. Another problem with these conferences is that everyone is given a platform, even if the person is a deviant. In fact, a group that one scholar belongs to may have done takfeer of the group that the other scholar belongs to but both give talks on the same stage. |
