Personally, I'm a video junky. I have about 30 tapes and use almost all of them. They just cycle around so I don't get bored. I find that I just don't push as hard as doing exercises by myself. It's like being in a class. I'm not going to just dance around for a full hour unless something is motivating me.
Tapes do not have to be expensive. If you are just starting out, make sure to buy tapes that do not require any special equipment. If you do, choose ones that use standard equipment that can be used in other videos. Ie, many videos use a step or set of dumb bells. Tapes like Tae Bo don't require equipment. Tapes like the Firm use steps that different from other videos. |
