nope....cant get it from kissing. Unless there is an open sore/wound in the mouth.

Saliva does contain miniscule traces, but not enough to cause the virus, unless theres an open wound.

One site said you would need two cupfuls of saliva to get the transmission across...and I sure dont swap 2 cupfuls when kissing.
Yes I agree with you as to kissing and saliva part as HIV is not transmitted thru saliva BUT there is an exception there: With deep/open mouth /french kissing, you might be aware in the heat of passion- biting happens- hence if one bites and an open wound occurs- blood is mixed then voila- HIV transmission

How about during winter time and our lips are chapped/cracked and have open membrane? If infected blood from the HIV kisser then another means to transmit the infection. It can be minimal risk- but it can happen and records from Communicable Disease department had cases of such
