I was going to sort out the shed today and take a load of stuff down the dump (not to mention risking getting bitten by big spiders!) Why dosent anyone take an illness seriously if it involves a naughty bit? Fuck me, this is really painful, more than when I nearly died of peritonitis.

Peter take a trip to your local chemist/ pharmacist. I'm sure he'll have something equivalent to Preparation H. At least it will give you some relief until you have the problem area removed.

One more thing. Make sure the " area " is clean as a whistle. Take a warm bath if you gotta.

If it still is bad tomorrow, I'll go to the docs

I had a bath this morning, was the only complete relief I got, wouldn't go to the docs with hairy cleggs hanging out my arse, anyway.

Go regardless of the pain level. They won't go away by themselves.

a sitz bath, prep. H (the cooling gel is better than the cream) prep. H wipes. i never had them (not even during or after pregnancy) but i did get them when we had to evacuate for Hurricane Ike. 5 hour drive with hemorrhoids not fun!

My brother had them so bad, he had to have them surgically removed!
