hi guys i have just started induction and i just wanted sum opinions about what i made for dinner 2nite i cut up 2 chicken breast fillets then added half cup full cream plus 1 mushroom and 2 tea spoons of masterfoods wholegrain mustard i read the labels on the mustard and 2 me it seems fine has about 13 grams of carb per 100 grams i also had couple eggs with sum cheese cooked in sum butter very tasty i must say i no i need vegies but i dont go shopping till 2morrow so i just made do oh and i did have 1 can of caffine free diet coke anyway any suggestions r appreciated thanku ps gr8 site lots of good advice cheers from australia

Hello M198! Welcome to Atkins and to this site.
![]() Based on your style of writing (sounds like texting/IMing to me) I'm guessing you're young. That doesn't matter here, but it matters to your body. You need those vegetables... so please, make sure you get them in the house. Have you read the book? Have you read the Induction rules and the food list that goes with it? Those two things are extremely important for success on this plan. Without them, it's kinda like putting a puzzle together without the picture to go by... you may get pieces to fit, but it will take you forever and you're going to be very frustrated. How much weight do you figure you need to lose? A little or a lot? Have you ever done low carb (or any other diet)? Are you M or F? Age? Are you on medications or have anything like diabetes or PCOS? These things all influence weight loss... but if I'm right and you're young, YOU have the greatest advantage of all... a young metabolism. ![]() So good luck, stick around and we'll help you figure this out. hi tril im actually 35 male lol thats just how i type . i used to b a solider very fit and well trained but bcause of sum injurys i dont train hard like i used to and basically i need to lose about 30 kg to b trim again reading thru dr atkins book is very interesting and i firmly believe carbs and sugars r a big nogo 4 my body so far this is the end of day 2 induction and its easy enough ive had a slight headache all day but thats probaly caffine withdrawls i usally drink 6 cups of tea plus a stack of rice cakes a day with sum equal tablets but the rice cakes r like 77 grams of carbs per hundred now i just have water and a couple of cups of caffine free coffee with a driblle of cream and 1 equal tablet just wondering tril would i b able to add a tiny bit of the lowest carb milk i can find for the coffee ? or is milk just a total nogo i notice the cream has 3.9 grams per 100 ml of carbs so i take it very easy thanks for any advice
