We can be buddies! Im on R1 phase 2 and day 6. I started at 220 and I'm at 214.8 now! I am definitely havin cravings too but I read that eliminating the Melba toast can fix those cravings. I drink soooo much water and snack on raw cucumbers when I get hungry. Good job on your weight loss!!! I would love a buddy!!!

Sweet! I havne't lost any weight the past 2 days.. Not sure why because I haven't cheated. I think its because i haven't been working. and my activity isn't as high when i'm off. gained 2 lbs the night before and then maintained the same weight last night. We shall see how today goes and what I weigh in the morning. Not going to try an apple day until I go back to work on Friday. I'm a line cook in a restaurant so my activity is very high when working. So I'm hoping for a few pounds from friday to saturday. Its kind of frustrating, but I think i may still be losing inches. I need to a thorough job of my measurements. I haven't really done that. Nor have I taken an pictures. But I don't have a full body mirror in my apartment. Can you believe that? There is no place for one in my tiny NY apt. haha. Thanks for being my buddy

The cravings are an unfortunate necessity as there is much hidden sugar in the processed foods we eat and coming off it is a nightmare, as is limiting the coffee. These cravings will only last a few days.

Your weight loss appears to be normal. Don't forget, your skin is also a 'consumer' of fats and oils so if your work causes you to some into contact with greasy, oily objects it will enter your system and cause reduced weightloss- use gloves. Included also cosmetics and hand creams. Expect to have days where you don't lose weight for several days at a time 'for no reason'. This is normally a previous weight level you were at for a sustained period of time. You body will get past it and start loosing weight again.

My best advise is. With the exception of mixing foods, stick to the diet knowing it works. Best of all. When you loose the weight it doesn't back again - provided you limit your sugar intake.

I totally understand how you feel! I'm on day 8 and I'm at stall right now. I've been the same weight for 2 days now and I haven't cheated AT ALL! I'm hoping it will pick back up tomorrow. I see that you live in New York! Living in New York has always been a dream of mine! I've visited there once and I LOVED it! I live in Texas, where it's considered the "bipolar state" because one day its hot, one day its cold, one day it rains... Crazy. But we can get through this! I read that mostly everyone has a stall at one point but it eventually picks back up again.

Yep i picked back up again. 2 days of stall then the next day i was down 1.1 and ;ast night, a night i worked, i weighed myself this morning and was down 2.2 yay! I lost inches int he days that i stalled though so keep being good and don't cheat.. it will pay off. I am really startig to feel great! i look better in my clothes. some pants are really starting to get baggy and i can fit into a couple old pairs of pants better.

On another note I love NYC. Moved out here about two years ago from Oregon to go to Culinary school.. Been cooking in kitchens for the past almost 7 years and decided i wanted to refine myself. So I moved out here.. What better place to learn about food. I've met some amazing chefs, and I work for Marcus Samuelsson now at Red Rooster Harlem.. It's sooo busy all the time. But I love what I do. WOuldn't ask for anything to change! Keep truckin lady you are doing great! I'm down 9.9 in 10 days of the vlcd! keep going we can do this!

Thats amazing! Good job!!! Tomorrow is Day 10 for me so I'm hoping the scale will move. But I do also notice a difference in my clothes as well, especially my jeans. I always thought it would be cool to go to culinary school but I never thought I could do it haha
Good luck!!
