Default Bowel Movement Problems and Q
Male, 16, down 15.5 lb's in last 10 days

One question though, I was dumb one night and decided to eat a bloody steak and had dhiarea for a few days. I'm better now, but im having less bowel movements than before the bloody steak situation. *Also would like to note im up 1.5 pounds from 2 days of not pooing D:, and drink half a gallon of water a day like always!)

Am I experiencing constapation? And if so, could this turn dangerous in any way or will my body expel all waste? (Just want to know before i have to take laxatives or an enema -_-! thanks!!!

No. 2 days of no poo after diarrhea is really, really common. There just isn't anything in there to come out; you pooed it all out previously. You are only taking in teeny amounts of fiber, so it sis going to take a while to build the poop back up.

You do not need a laxative or an enema. People really truly do not have to poop daily to have healthy bowels.

Am curious - what is a bloody steak? Do you mean a rare steak? If so, that won't give you diarrhea. My steaks of choice are very rare, and I only eat medium-rare steaks if I am a friend's house who cooked it for me.

about a 4 oz with 1/3 (in the mid) being pink-reddish. my mother suggested there was e-coli in it, but i find it directly linked to the steak because i have ate steak before the same way and blew up the next day as i did at school LOL.

question though: I weighed myself this morning and was up 1.5 pounds. Is this because im storing water due to diarrhea expulsion (its really liqaudy) ON TOP of the water i drank yesterday?

If you don't poop again in another day or so, take some Mr. Oxygen OxyFlush. It is magnesium-based, no other additives, is not a laxative, but rather a colon eliminator. It will blow your colon, but it will also make you feel back to normal. You don't want to have days worth of poop in your colon - it's toxic if not eliminated regularly. You can safely take OxyFlush (capsules) in smaller numbers to keep things moving thereafter, like 2-3 a day, as opposed to the initial blowout dose of 2 capsules for every 25# of body weight. It doesn't affect your electrolyte balance nor does it cause dependency. Great stuff for this diet of low fiber. During P3 you can add freshly ground golden flax seeds to your salads/dressings/smoothies to keep you clear on that low-carb diet, along with other oils and seed and nut fibers, but in P2 we can't do that unfortunately :P

I don't think it's a good idea to take a "colon eliminator" while you are getting over diarrhea, but that's just me.

Well I agree I wouldn't blow my colon the same day after the type of intestinal distress he experienced; however, this diet is very detoxifying as most all toxins are stored in fat cells and when they are released so rapidly during P2 if you don't have regular complete elimination you will not detoxify and release at the same rate, plus you are retaining the toxins in the colon which is not an ideal situation. Sennaand Cascara often found in laxative teas can be very harsh and habit forming to the digestive/elimination system.
