The sausage mc muffin with egg at mcdonalds has almost 500 calories and Tons of fat! It has to be the sausage one - plain egg mc muffin doesn't have the fat. Pasta w/cream sauce and cheese is good! Avocados , bacon, double cheeseburgers , French fries, good luck!

That is so true, you will not feel as hungry if you load properly.

Biscuits and gravy!!! Bacon, sausage, pasta, cheese, ice cream, donuts, cake, anything that you want to get out of your system before phase 2.

I didn't throw up, but by the end of the second day, I was SO full and felt like a disgusting pig! But i still only gained 2 lbs and was hungry the first 5 days. I actually did not eat enough fat after reading posts on here. I will be loading next week again and this time I am doing it right! Hopefully I won't be sick!

I'm going to start another go and I don't like to stuff like this at all! I thought I loaded well round one, but I did not eat al da long constantly, just three huge meals with lots of fat and a few snacks. Does anyone recommend eating all day long or are meals and snakes good enough?

When we load up, does the food have to be organic?
can it be like the really bad stuff like fast food?

it can be the really bad stuff!

you don't really have to eat organic on the hcg, either- that's kevin trudeau's addition to the program. of course it's better for you, but not always practical due to cost.

julia- you don't have to eat all day long. but i did feel much better this time, with more loading. however for the most part i still tried to avoid carbs and sugar- just didn't want to put that stuff back in my system. i ate pizza with just a tiny bit of the crust, lots of nuts. you could also try using a lot of olive oil in cooking, since that is a healthy fat. some people also eat coconut oil by itself- expellar pressed.

yeah, don't you love the looks you get? but remember, you don't have to eat crappy fast food and all of that- or eat a lot of carbs with your fat- you can eat healthy fats like olive oil, nuts, peanut butter, etc. the next time i'm going to try and keep even more carbs out- that way i don't think i'll gain as much, but will still get the required fat in.

no, you don't. kevin tends to push more than one agenda in his book, and it can be confusing. there is no requirement for only organic food in the original protocol. i did organic the first time for the most part- but the chicken i bought was lousy, the hamburger tough, and the oranges were terrible. i'm not doing organic this round and i'm doing fine.

you also don't need all those different kinds of teas. again, that's not in the original protocol- it's added by kevin. i don't like either coffee or tea, so i have had none of either while i've been on the hcg.

I seldom if ever buy organic and losing jut fine. Organic is healthier but also cost a lot more and so I just don't trip on it. Kevin Trudeau stresses it inhis book but not Dr Simeons inhis protocol so I dont worry about it. As for loading, load until youcan't load anymore, good , bad greasy, fatty foods, as much as you can handle. Fried fish, french fries, pizza, onion blossoms, enchiladas (Mexican food), philly cheesesteaks, ice cream,.......ok I am making myself hungry now>lol

I think that's where I went wrong on my load days. I slept in REALLY late both days (weekend) and only ate 2 big meals each day. I think next time I will try eating smaller meals all day long.

I only ate a couple organic things the whole time. It's too expensive and the fruit goes bad really fast!

I know this thread is old but I can't seem to find the one I recall seeing awhile back. I've been off the forum for a little over a month, needing to stop my R1 early. I'm now on R2 loading day 1.

Can anyone give a good estimate of the amount of fat grams or calories we should aim for in loading? I know it's not an exact thing & everyone differs... But I apparently didn't load enough the first time (as I had a week of much hunger), so I'm sort of tracking what I eat on this load & looking for an idea or range to shoot for.

Can anyone help?

Thanks and I look forward to being involved here again!
