Default not having the melba toasts can I have something else?
Hi everyone,

I am not having the melba toasts or sticks as i am gluten intolerant but I am now feeling quite hungry on my 3rd day of VLCD. I did load up quite a lot and I was wondering if I could have something in their place?

I have lost 4lbs and 3.5 inches so far so I am happy.

I didn't eat either melba or the sticks during P2, and ate about 4 ounces of protein for lunch/dinner (versus 3.5 ounces). There are no other carb substitutes.

No there is no sub for the melba. it's best to just eliminate it. It isn't that many calories anyway. If you're hungry, your dose is off though. What are you taking?

I am trying to find out what dose I am taking as I am a little confused about the insulin needles (see other thread)

My naturapathic doctor had me replace Melba with a half of a rice cake since I have a gluten allergy.
