I dont have another vial to mix my hcg in. Is it okay to reuse the one that I have?

No you have to have a new one. It has to be sterile.

What can I use? Why wouldnt it be sterile, Its no different if I had mixed alot more medicine in there at one time, and am still withdrawing medicine out of it? Or am I totally not knowing what im talking about?

Whenever you pierce the top you are introducing the possibility of non sterile stuff. Our nurses all say you can't reuse them. :-(

if you have a compound pharmacy in your town you can probably get one there- it will be bigger than you need, but ok for now.

once you pierce the top of the vial, there is a portal for bacteria to enter- that's why you're not supposed to re-use them. but if you can't find one in your town, just make sure you clean the top off well with alcohol before you mix it- you'll probably be ok. and order some for the next time you mix.

I have been using the same vial for several rounds, no problems. That said I am VERY careful with
cleanliness!!!! IDEALLY you should use a new one. If you are in a time bind and are very clean when you mix and very clean when you inject don't worry.

Never reuse syringes or needles. Never touch anything but your injection site with your needle. Always clean the top of your vail with an alcohol pad before your withdraw your daily dose. Always clean your skin with a fresh alcohol pad.

Keep your vial covered like in a larger empty medication container in the fridge. Do not touch the top of your vial except for the alcohol pad or your needle.
