Default POLL: Make-up, Lotion, Hair Products...Please Chime in on this one.
Just wondering how many of you have changed or stopped using make-up, lotions, hair products etc.
I am a business woman and can’t go around just looking any kind of way so….

Make-up: I just cannot change my make-up, no one needs to experience that. LOL. I don’t think it hurt me and I don’t think my foundation has oil in it anyway.
Lotion: I have replaced my lotion for Baby Oil Gel. The Shea & Cocoa Butter kind because I don't wanna smell like a baby. Is that okay?
Hair Products: Now my hair products – That’s the big one. I am black and I have dry hair so I use a spray on glosser that I am sure has some illegel oil in it, again no one needs to experience that.

I did round 1 with just okay losses. I am wondering if I have hindered myself.

So what have you kept or stopped using and has it hurt your losses? Please chime in.

I didn't change my foundation make-up or my facial cleanser or moisturizer - they were all already oil-free. I stopped using my cream blush and my concealer. I continued using my eye liner pencil and my brow powder. I saved mascara for only certain times and put it just on the ends of my lashes.

I bought organic oil free shampoo and conditioner from Amazon. For my hair (slightly wavy and fine) it worked really well but I'm sure it wouldn't for everybody. I used the shampoo as a body wash. Amazon also had the oil free lotion by the same organic company. It worked fine in summer but it's typical of oil free type lotions - sits on the top of the skin, sort of. I prefer my usual lotions.

Don't know if doing this helped my losses or not, since I have nothing to compare it to.

My first two rounds I gave up all creams and lotions and used only mineral powder makeup. This round, I have decided to use eye cream and some antiwrinkle cream on my face since I'm in my late 60s and really worried about my skin. I'm not losing as much this round, but it's a trade off for me. I'm using them sparingly, but I am using them.

I changed my body moisturizer to aveeno and my sunscreen to oil free coppertone. Dont think it hindered things at all. I dont wear much makeup anyways and my cleaners and stuff were already oil free.

I just bought some new skin products this weekend without even thinking. Oops! I just don't get how my body could use the oils from my skin.
