Default Anyone have any luck finding Bulk or large Truvia bags?
I've heard an urban legend that Truvia comes in larger bags, like Stevia in the Raw, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone hunted them down? I'm getting a little tired of tearing open 10's of the little packets for my Koolaids and Coffee.

I've tried many of the other products but they left an almost chalk film in my mouth or have a nasty after taste. Truvia is rather awesome, and I've kept up my 72 ounces of water habit with it.

I know lots of people never come back and check in after the diet, but an update on me is that the weight hasn't come back. Granted I eat P3 6 days a week..okay sometimes 5 ... and have found that routine works well if I don't go off my rocker and over indulge. But the few times I have, I ate clean for three days and I was back where I needed to be. I've never done a steak or apple day, just behaved.

My way of eating has certainly changed from a meat and potatoes gal, to a meat and tomatos chick.

I'm surprised it's hard to find.... my Walmart here in Oklahoma carries it. But I do Stevia, so I haven't ever paid much attention to the price sorry

I have bought Truvia in 9.8 oz container...sort of "sugar bowl" sized. I found it at my local grocery store alongside the boxes of packets. I haven't seen it in packages any larger than that. If you find any, let me know!

Yes, I've seen the "sugar bowl," but it's priced higher per ounce. You pay for the hard plastic.

I've never really shopped Walmart, but maybe I should check. Costco has lots of the Stevia products, but bleeech, I can't stomach the stuff.

I've heard of stevia in bulk, but avoid Truvia! I've read really terrible things about it, some sort of weird crap is added under "natural flavors" and it gives people aches, migraines, all sorts of nasties. Google Truvia side effects. Personally I like NuNaturals, by far the best tasting.

Truvia contains Stevia PLUS Erythritol, which is an artificial sweetener many people cannot tolerate (though they may not even know it!). For me, a couple of packets of Truvia cause my face, eye sockets and hands to swell- I look like a hamster! Lol!
Stevia in the Raw is pure Stevia-- and it tastes WAY better than Truvia because it's not bitter. It's the only brand of Stevia that I can stand the taste of in my coffee, and the reason why I was able to kick Splenda to the curb a year ago.

You might have to buy it online, for instance ebay: Stevia

Yes, taste is personal. Frankly I find all the Stevia branded products gross and chaulky tasting. Truvia doesn't seem to affect me nor my family, and we like the taste of it. It's all just another brand of fake sugar.

I've tried on line, but so no luck. Maybe some day soon.

Yes I did Bur, thank you for the link. But it's not the Truvia type Stevia I'm looking for. I've seen Stevia in the Raw in 5 lbs bags. Fortunately I didn't buy it. I bought a small bag...my husband and I were on the toliet for 3 hours after that. Ick.

I notice the first ingredient listed on the the 'Stevia in the Raw' brand is Dextrose.... so I would think that's a no-no. ? I've been using one that says 'Stevia' on the label, but notice it also shows Erythritol and I'm not sure if that's a bad thing as far as P2 protocol. I do have a liquid stevia (vanilla cream flavor).... oh, and after reading the label closely, I see it says to refrigerate after opening to retain freshness. It's been in my cabinet for about six months now..... URGH.

Does anyone know?

Eeek... Maybe the plain 'Stevia' in packets with Erythritol is something I should drop from my morning coffee and really go hard core---totally, completely black. Wow... that would be another milestone. One of my favorite memories is drinking black coffee with no sugar or cream, BUT, I did have a delicious dessert I was eating at the same time. Oh, and I was in Chicago off Wells.... Wow! I just looked up my old address where I used to live (1000 LaSalle) and looked at what I used to see out my fifth floor window..... http://maps.google.com/maps?q=1000+L...SfDEbl6kwbFoQQ

Anyway, trying to get to the bottom of the 'Stevia' packets I use in my morning coffee. Actually, I only use one pack per coffee mug... total = 2.

You can make your own Truvia by using 3 of the sweet leaf stevia packets per 1/2 cup of Eryhritol. Thanks to Hebby Dobby and Slim Steve on Facebook.

I can't find the large containers of Truvia in any store near me either, including Walmart. I do prefer xylitol when in P3 though. I know it can cause digestive issues in some but I don't have any problems and it is sweet with zero bitterness or aftertaste.

I don't think Truvia comes in a bigger container. I noticed that Walmart has a store brand now but only in the packets.

You mean the 9.8 oz container then. That is the largest they have shown on the webpage. I don't know why they don't have bigger ones. I only find that at Walmart.

I can only find the packets in every store I have checked in. Grrr! Although I am in P3 so xylitol it is for me. I now use the cheaper version that does contain maltodextrin (I think that is is) but it doesn't seem to negatively affect me.

I've been using Truvia - and yes our stores sell the jars and really big boxes of packets - but bought a cheaper big bag of Stevia in the Raw to try for making a cheesecake and I didn't even think to read the ingredients til I had used it and not liked it. it contains maltodextrin. not the end of the world, but yuck. and the cheesecake has a bitterness to it. I'm so bummed and have wasted all those eggs and cream cheese. I am totally sticking with Truvia in the future. the erythritol in the Truvia doesn't bother me and I totally like the Truvia taste though I do find it sweeter than sugar. but I cannot stand the Stevia in the Raw - definitely a bitter taste. so I guess everyone's tastes are indeed very different.
