Oh for crying out loud, you're not this much of a wuss, are U?
![]() It's going to be 33 tonight but I'm enjoying the weather. Cool and crisp at night, breezy and cool during the day. Anyway, enjoy it because it will be back in the mid-70s next week, lows in the 50s. I can't believe you're a native Yankee! Even I wouldn't wear gloves unless it was like, in the teens and blowing. This weather is prime. |

Lots of yankees come from south of the Mason-Dixon line. Maryland is a yankee state and so is Delaware (Parts of Delaware are below the Mason-Dixon line) Baltimore used to have a lot of southern sympathizers, during the cival war, and of course battles in Pa, ( Gettyburg) Md. (Antietam) -not sure if any cival wars battle were in Delaware. You can call me anything you want just not a DAMN YANKEE. ![]() |

Maryland was a "border state" during the cival war, I know parts of Delaware are below the MD line -but not Maryland -my home state. You come from a yankee state. |

Yes. Maryland is below the Mason-Dixon line, and is a Yankee state. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Border_...ican_Civil_War) once the American Civil War began in April, the term border states refers to Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, and West Virginia, which bordered a free state and were aligned with the Union. In which case I'll remind you of the 1861 plot to assassinate Lincoln at the Baltimore stop on his way to DC. Etc. |

another Pat proclamation , i'm not getting into a debate, unless you accept the premise of "border states" during the cival war http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mason_Dixon_line ![]() As I stated, Maryland is below the Mason-Dixon line. Most southerners would consider Maryland a Yankee state, that's just how it is. |
