My Whippet Lurcher keeps going through stages where he looses quite a bit of weight regardless of how much additional food I feed him. I first noticed this a few years ago whilst we were camping and a trip to the vet didn't give us any insight why it happened. Last winter the same thing happened and it occurred to me that he was loosing weight when the weather was cold!

I have been well prepared this year and he is now the proud owner of a purple waterproof coat and so far he seems to love it!

I'm actually quite against dogs wearing clothes simply for the owners entertainment but I have to admit that he looks really cute!
