JUST BECAUSE ANIMAL CONTROL SAYS NOTHING IS WRONG DOESNT MEAN THEY SHOULD KEEP THE DOGS AND ITS A GOOD HOME..
I have a cousin he has had multiple pit bulls 2- teamed up and killed another dog. 1- people aggressive chased my friends and killed their 10 chickens my friend shot and killed the dog for protection and he has another pit bull animal control has seen him every incident but he is allowed to continue and possess more pit bulls and dogs for that matter and have them run loose the neighborhood.. There are multiple little children that live in the neighborhood.. Animal control still lets him have the animals but doesnt mean nothing is wrong they are just to stupid and lazy to do anything about it |

Have you brought this to the attention of others beside PBC and AC? We can't do anything, AC can, and decided it isn't warrented.
I want to know, if you are REALLY concerned, surely someone other than yourself has also made noise about it. Also, the media would be interested if it is true. ALSO, I do not believe AC is to lazy to do anything, if it were an actual problem. AC just like other "enforcement" agencies answer to an authority above them. They are not in a conspirancy to "not do their job". |

Well I guess it's a double edged sword. The aggressive dogs (if that is the case) would need to be dealt with promptly but say the AC do in fact take all of these chained dogs. They would be euthanized. Who's to say that those dogs weren't physically in their prime or mentally stable and that they deserve to live?? These people chaining... what are they doing incorrectly in your eyes?

you know what? Enforcement agencies are underfunded, understaffed, and overworked. There have been plenty of cases here in DC where overworked social workers haven't followed up with a foster family and the kid has been abused or neglected, sometimes even killed. Animal control doesn't necessarily have the resources to keep up with every dirtbag out there. Do you want to pay more in taxes? Because municipality budgets are getting slashed left and right and workers furloughed. It's a tough world out there, but there aren't enough resources to get every problem fixed to your satisfaction.
