Default Bike attachments for dogs
I want to buy a bike attachment for the dogs, has anyone ever used one?.

I can't decide between Walky Dog/k9 Cruiser/Springer dog bike attachment. They all look so good.

Any thoughts?.

Thanks.

i'm not really sure what they're for? just to free up your hands, or to keep the dogs out of the spokes? most people i know just use a leash.

Keep your hands free and keep the dog to one side and safe. With this, I know my dogs arn't going to walk into the wheel/in front of it.

Both dogs don't know heel or how to stay by my side so this is a safe option for both of us until they learn. I know it also has it's dangers though.

I have the walky dog and love it, it not only helps keep your hands free(well if your me you have a prong and a short leash attatched still and it looped on your wrist) and most important, it puts the dog pulling at the center of the bike, under your butt so its the most weight so the dog can't pull you over like it could if it was pulling on your hand to get at a squirrel (tested through a dog running at me and squirrels, kept Goren who is about 60LBs going the direction I wanted)

We got the walky from a friend and it is a wonderful attachment, keeps hands free and gets the excercising for the dog done. Trigger can still pull a little but its not an issue, he is around 70lbs. now.

I also have the Walky Dog. Works great! It's attached to the seat post, so it's REALLY hard for the dog to pull you.
I had Nick out one day, going kinda slow when some dogs come at Nick, and he LUNGED at them. I got a little jerk on the bike, started pedaling faster, Nick had to refocus on moving. Since he had to ignore the other dogs, they left him alone. All was good.

I have a Walky Dog and totally agree with the above. It also has a spring inside if it kind of like a shock absorber so you can't feel the dog tug much and the dog can't throw you off balance easily.
