Slayer is sick and tired of the bees in our backyard obviously...she decided to bite one.
I got her back and she got to have benedryl and a vet visit.

She had benedryl and looks normal again. I rushed to the vet cause I didnt know what to do.

Well now you know at least that she isn't deathly allergic to them, unless the vet did something to save her and her reaction was crazy?

The first time our long haired chihuahua got stung in the mouth, her WHOLE faced swelled up and she looked like a cocker spaniel... I was trying not to laugh, because she looked so cute LOL

My mom's last Dobermann had a habit of chasing bee's as a pup. He ended up getting stung on the tip of his nose and looking like Snoopy for the rest of the day.

Poor slayer but her face is hilarious in the second pic, Zoey is also a bee chaser, fly chaser, anything that flies or crawls chaser. I am surprised she has not been stung yet by anything.

Hope she is feeling better! Buster had to go to the vet too after a bee stung him. Give her a kiss for me.

After the benedryl kicked in she was fine. LoL..I was trying so hard not to laugh my ass off at her but the terrible attempt at botox was just epic. I love this dog....she is full of good laughs.

I wish I had a camera when Rita got a bug stuck in her eye and it swelled up within minutes to look like she got punched by Mike Tyson. Seriously, it was BAD! She couldn't even see it was so swollen. I freaked out, started running for the e-vet magnet on the fridge to call them and take her in, my husband decides to try flushing her eye with warm water and out comes this bug. Her eye went back to normal by the next evening. It looked like a lightning bug which makes sense since the dogs like to chase them in the yard at dusk. Since the "bug incident", she leaves insects alone.

lol... damn dogs drain our monies outta our pockets...lol. kk actually ate one of the HUGE bumble bees last summer when it wouldnt leave me alone..lol.. swallowed it and puked it back up less then an hour later.. fkin puss! LOL
