Default I guess prong collars are BAD...
OK, so im not the one saying theyre bad. I use a prong collar on Toni because shes a terrible walker. She is a rescue, and she was kept in a kennel and wasnt walked, so she doesnt know how to properly walk on a regular collar. We tried a no pull harness, but still no luck. I love the prong collar. She does great on it, and we can have nice walks with it. Well, Im getting crap from people telling me prongs are mean and unethical, and im hurting my dog. I tried explaining to them that its to train her, Its a correction tool and not to be worn all the time, and it does not hurt the dog if used properly. Theyre comparing it to picking up an animal by the tail..I think theyre being rediculous and arent properly educated about them. Anything else I should add about this? They said a choke chain is better lol..I dont agree...Im just annoyed
