That's exactly how I feel, whenever I take in a lost/stray pet I am feel like I shouldn't even look for the owners because I usually judge what type of owner they are by the fact that I found their pet in the first place. Especially after having people call for a cat they lost a month or so after I have already gone on to find a home for it. Some people don't even look it seems.
