On the contrary, the answers have all been given, both in this thread and in other current threads:

what changes (warps) the space-time fabric; Mass does

what causes that fabric to be depressed by mass ? Oh, seems you knew the answer to part 1 already. There is a lengthy discussion of this question in the "Mechanism of Special Relativity" thread. Personally I don't think we know the answer, but others think the question is not meaningful. You might like to just make something up.




This mechanism is exactly the same as Newton......
As pointed out, obviously not, since it gives rise to different predictions, which predictions have been found to match observations much better than Newtonian theory (which does not include a mechanism anyway).
