Ashley Moser, injured in 'Dark Knight' shooting, suffers miscarriage

Moser, who took a bullet to the stomach, also lost her 6-year-old daughter during the Aurora massacre

A pregnant Colorado woman who took a bullet to the stomach and lost her 6-year-old daughter in the “Dark Knight” rampage has suffered a second tragedy: the death of her unborn child.

News that Ashley Moser’s baby was safe in her womb after the shooting had been hailed as a miracle.

But the 25-year-old Moser suffered a miscarriage after undergoing surgery related to her neck and abdomen wounds, her family said in a statement Saturday.

Moser’s daughter, Veronica Moser-Sullivan, was the youngest person killed in the attack at a midnight showing of the new Batman movie in Aurora July 20.

The family says funeral plans for Veronica remain pending.
