While Walker has not gone nearly far enough to please this libertarian free trader, he has demonstrated the ease and speed at which markets solve problems that government finds intractable. The lesson to be learned in Wisconsin is one of trajectory, not distance - Walker went local, while Obama/Pelosi/Reed/Roberts went national. The Roberts Court decision will simply add health care to the list of things that government has ruined in the past century of progressive dogoodery.

Here is the MAIN reason liberals should be cheering corps........
Let this sink in for just a moment, govbots…your public pension is now dependent on corporate profits doubling and then increasing at 3-5 times the rate of inflation. If you want to take that cruise or keep your Badger tickets or buy that new hybrid, you have to root for Team Greed. |

but im not for a war only if congress allows it. because the majority wanted iraq invaded, yet it never went to a vote. then bushII sided with their proposal. so does just asking for something signify the vote as yeah? should all who asked for it, then repealed their consent die? That's sorta our standard. It doesn't mean we support such a war.......just that one branch of government can't declare war on its own. If we disagree with congress about how they voted.....then we have the option of voting their ass out next go around. Not perfect......at all.......but it is a check/balance. |

War only if congress allows it, is what's written in the constitution. |

but you base this upon the presumption that the constitution does in fact deemand a consent by congress. should that hold true, then where is the Confederate States of America? Sadly. It's just another example of the government's misuse of power. |

okay. how about the war that Cheveron has been promoting against the Karen? is that " legal " ? if not, why are they allowed to do so? I support little that we do anymore. What the point is, is the Exc branch can't just 'go to war'....without our reps approving it. And if our reps approve it and we don't like it.....we'll get new reps. (in theory) |

It is difficult for guys like me to sympathize with those protestors who expect high-paying jobs simply just because they have college degrees. In case any of you are reading this, I have to tell you that college isn’t even that hard anymore, and your need to pay off your loan is not a reason why I should hire you to work for me. It is on you to show me what value you can add to my firm; it is not on me to provide you with income. And you must compete with others who want that job as much or more as you do.

Jebe, I think pretty much everything since our war with Britain has been wrong, if not illegal. |

but once they are in, its very hard to dispose of them. some even stay way past their presidency even. others try to be pertinant afterwards. i think we need to enact an ammendment where they loose a didgit every month unless theyve actualy accomplished something while in tenure. I'd like to see harsher penalties on politicians who break/bend the law. DUI for you or I? That's one thing......but against the guy who billed the law against DUI's?........give him life. Fraud for joe smith? Jail time. Fraud for Mr. Politician? Life in prison. Let's see how many would jump to be one of those lawmakers, if there were actual teeth put into their collective asses when they crossed a line. |
