but things could have been Much worse & I'm glad it broke up quickly.
And you are 100% correct- they Will fight, even if they are raised together from pups, or have lived together for Years.
Sounds like you did a good job explaining DA to your bf & hopefully he won't hold this against Diesel. I always tell people that expecting a Bully not 2 fight, is the same as expecting a Lab not 2 retrieve. For people that don't understand DA is a trait, that seems to help them "get it."
Also, I would def. get a Breakstick. I believe that there are a few members here that sell them. Mace may not work.
It didn't work on my dog, but he was already deep in a fight & my ex sprayed the whole can in his face, eyes & mouth - It did not slow him down a bit. In fact- he fought harder.
