does the "attachment" that you speak of...the other part of the controller...does it come with the system or is it just another one of those things that you have to pay extra for? I saw some wii points last night (like the microsoft points for xbox)...what are those for? Is there online gaming with this?

The nunchuck attachment comes with it. In the box you will find the sensor bar, the Wii console, remote, nunchuck attachment, batteries, Wii Sports, manuals, and all the cables.

The Wii Points are for the WiiConnect24 store. You can go on there and buy games from the NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, TurboGrafix, and Genesis consoles.

Oh yeah, and instead of a memory card, you can use SD cards (like the ones you use for digital cameras) to put your saved games on.
