If they simply get on a plane and visit Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, then they might get an idea of how a stadium should be built. In terms of public facilities (seating space, access to toilets, hardly any lines for food & drink) then this stadium is the one to model off. Having been there several times, it is first class and it is the reason I hate Subiaco Oval as a venue now. Before that I thought Subi was adequate. Going to Etihad & Subiaco now is like going from New York to Afganistan.

They have one chance to get this right. Design it so its 100% flawless. They must look at the next 100 years, not the next five.
