I guess I am a WeAreist to an extent. I don't try to take credit for anyone else achievements but I am proud of the things 'my people' have accomplished. I do not see anything wrong with a little ethnic pride. I know there are people here who like to talk down people for that but it doesn't bother me. They are entitled to their opinion just as everyone else is. I guess the group is more important to me than the individual.
No, not exactly. Weareist is who appropriates the merits of others, not who feel a little proud of them. Weareist would be the student who appropriates the merits of his teacher, not the student who is proud to have him as a teacher.
