I wonder why noone posted about this soon to be released camera. It is suposed to blow the sub $1000 competition off.

That sure is quite the feature set Pentax has placed into a ~$1000 body!

-In body IS
-10Mpixels
-dust reduction (although it will be interesting to see how well both Canon and Pentax's systems work in relation to Sony's which has been initially proven to be inferior to Olympus SSWF)
-and the one that amazes me Fully Weather Sealed!

Mid and top range camera features falling into the mid-low range body price.... always great to see!

Why must Pentax torture me like this

The anti-shake system is supposedly superior to sony/minolta's too.

The specs of this camera certainly seem to be great. I'm waiting to see some actual shots from a production model and a serious review before I go check it out. Everything seems to be speculation at this point, but it is promising.

They do look nice, but they're also low ISO shots. The real test will be with ISO800 or above.

So far so good.
