Default Starfield Wallpaper! Find me one :D
Really needing a good Starfield wallpaper, preferably nothing artificial unless it looks really realistic. No planets, no nebulas, no blackholes, just a plain old nightsky or from orbit looking starfield, and it has to be dark(ie no overly bright spots in it) cause I really hate brightly colored backgrounds

something like tbob has here http://www.futuremark.com/forum/show...p?t=72&page=36
A slight haze in the background like that is fine too, nice effect.

Only not in widescreen cause I'm still usin an old 19" CRT, but otherwise that ones really cool.

My resolution is 1280x1024 so anything in that range will work as when I resize it won't get distorted

It's really frusterating me as I've looked everywhere for weeks now and everyones either looks like shat or has a planet or something in it when I just want a "night sky" effect to my monitor, as it, my tower, GC, desk, keyboard, mouse, and chair are all black it looks really neat.

As a note I've already checked out the hubblesite and those are pretty cool but kind of over the edge, too many objects etc, plus the resolutions are really low.

Any help much appreciated! Sorry if I'm being alittle demanding but I even searched the forums here before asking, alot of beautiful wallpapers but just not what I'm looking for.

I've googled for nightsky scenery, starfields, starfield wallpapers, basic space wallpapers to see if I could get lucky and find just what I wanted but no dice.

I had a program which created awesome images in space - quickly and easily.

I forgot what it was called....

Tuesday when I get my RAM stick in the mail, I'll fire up my PC and look on my HD for it. I still have it but the name escapes me...
