Difficult one to predict, but I cant see alonso, button hamilton or rosberg moving teams anytime soon, it depends how competitive the teams are - I thought before the start of the season red bull would be off pace, and ferrari would be the ones running away with the wins...how wrong I was!!

I'll focus my prediction abilities on more lucrative topics like the end of the world... which by the way will be long before von trips gets his 3rd win

Difficult. I think there are only a couple of things you could say with any degree of confidence;

None of these guys will beat MS's record - there are just too many top guys stealing wins from one another, which never happened in Mick's time.

I would expect Hamster to become the lead Brit on the table. Time is on his side, and he is almost half way there already.

There are so many races per season now that accumulating wins is getting easier and easier. I think we will see some long time win records falling in the next 10 years.

It's fairly certain that Wolfgang won't be adding to his current haul.

Long may he rest in peace, of course.

The answer to the question depends on who has the best car for the longest amount of time.

Vettel is one of the most interesting driver stats to follow currently. I mean let's look at other facts as well: already 19 pole positions, but only 6 fastest laps. In this sense he sort of reminds Senna in terms of stats collection - constantly starts from the front, but doesn't need to push at the end of races. In any case, Vettel is only 23 years old and if RBR keeps staying at the front, he could join Top3 among the biggest pole-sitters in just two years' time (currently P3 - Clark on 33). If Vettel keeps having front-running cars all career, he can have a shot at certain records...

In terms of wins it will get interesting between Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel. Who keeps having the right cars, can have a shot at Top3 in the all-time rankings. In case of Massa and Button I alas don't see many wins. In Massa's case he should consider himself fortunate if he gets any additional win at all if he doesn't pick himself quickly up and secure a long-term future in Ferrari. Button is consistently behind Hamilton and seems to have a genuine chance only in some specific circumstances. He is likely to win a couple more though. Probably more than that if McLaren produces a "car to beat" one year.

Webber will also get a few more wins, perhaps in the style of Barrichello. With this I mean that both in Ferrari/Brawn Rubens' team-mate won a lot in the beginning of the seasons and ran away with the WDC, after which the Brazilian got a couple of consolation wins at the end of the season. Rosberg will either turn out to be a Button/Webber (finally gets a top car after many years of waiting and starts winning) or turns into another Heidfeld (people keep waiting, when will he finally get a top car and delivers on the promise, but that never happens). Fortunately for Nico, he is still young and can still wait. But for how long?

Von Trips 0 wins to 92 wins (and break Schumi's record).
If you know well Schumi's story, Von Trips was the founder of the go-kart kartodrome at Hörrem-Kerpen later bought by Rolf Schumacher, then Schumi could be considered his "heir" and we could count 93 wins between the two drivers.

Alonso, 35 wins
Hamilton, 30 wins
Vettel, 50 wins
Massa still with 11 wins
Jenson Button 12 wins
Webber 8 wins
Rosberg 5 wins

Strange nobody count Rubinho and/or Heidfeld on this list.

Or Kovalainen or Truli. They're both GP winners. I'm not sure Rosberg will ever join their ranks ;-)
