Default Pet Peeves
As the topic says, what are some of your pet peeves? Things that you do or say that annoy others; either through your own realizations or mentioned by others...
Also, what pet peeves about other people you noticed that bug you?
Discuss...pet peeves, complaints, rants, etc...
As always, keep discussions civilized and constructive.

hmmm nath says I'm annoying...does that count.
No really, people who go off on to another planet when I'm talking...nath, he's my biggest pet peeve...meet him and you'll understand.
I shake my leg lots, that tends to annoy ppl.
I pick my nose when I think no ones looking but they see anyway...maybe thats just gross .
I have constant gas...again that just might be gross
Is this more than you wanted to know?
Hehe...I'm in a truthful mood so I'll leave it at that.
Ah people that annoy me...fashionable couples, the "we look good together ppl"
Our neighbours who noisly get themselves arrested in the evening (long story) then the next day blame it on us when we're not the ones dealing drugs and commiting benefit fraud.
The police who manage to drive 8 miles quietly at 3 in the morning then turn their sirens on as they go through villages.
Posh ppl who are VERY thick
English weather reporters...does Scotland exist in England?
Joss stone!
Spiders (just saw one!!!!) don't mind lil ones but big ones that fall on u in the shower aren't good.
ppl who have an answer for everything (you know who u are :-P)
Um...too much to put here...so I'll leave it at that.

What are Pet Peeves?
By reading I take it that its like annoying things about yourself?
In that case I have one very very very annoying thing.
I have a "psychological" problem, that is extremely annoying. I hate myself. Since I dont love myself, I have to "love" others. It means I am very very emotional and very very intense and that bugs people to hell and I realize that, but the more I realize, the more I hate myself for it and the more the whole thing goes over and over again... A psychologist asked me to tell her positive aspects of people I barely know, and I could come up with heaps, but when asked about myself, I had no clue what to say. My self esteem was really low and therefore I had to feel close to other people instead.
I'm coming out of that stuff now, but its too damned difficult to find positive aspects about myself and stop "loving" others instead. So now those of you who have spoken to me know why I am so annoying, specially people like geary and player 4 who I have spoken most to and therefore annoyed the most. Strange thing is when somebody gets to know me better, the problem isn't that bad. I really wish I wasn't that way. Thanks for reading, I cant keep what I have to say about me short either. Sorry.

Now I hope That is a pet peeve or else I just embarrassed myself in vein.

post edited before I read your post. I guess it still applies?
About others, nothing really annoys me but perhaps agressive attitude. I consider I am not in a position to judge other people's annoying habbits.

I hear you.
It gets stupid when the only thing that gave me strength to receive a new day was going to school to talk for somebody for 2 minutes before school started (only time I saw that person throughout the whole day), and after that, my day had virtually finished.
I just find it amazing how people stand me before they really get to know me. I can see the kind of retard I am when I get all intense and emotional and so on. That's the problem. I cant get rid of it.
The fresh start helped heaps though and now I feel I can overcome this but some times I fall straight into that again, specially when I'm lonely and something however insignificant doesn't work out.
I feel so ashamed of posting stuff like this. But oh well, what ever. I have nothing to hide...

I'm the kind of guy who is very modest about stuff, so I do get very annoyed at people who always talk about themselves and who boast about personal achievements.
I'm also the kind of person who gets very jealous when left out of conversations and who always feels left out when not with people I know. That gets me angry. Since I'm the kind of guy who doesn't boast about personal achievements, I also feel left out when people don't appreciate me for what I do. For example, earlier this year, I was in the relay team for Swimming National Championships, but being the kind of guy I am, I didn't notify it to teachers and stuff, and expected people to realise it gradually. Unfortunately, no one did until about two weeks AFTER the race. And by then I was over it.
I'm also the kind of guy who can't keep up a conversation. I just don't have very good social skills so I can't keep talking to someone for a long time; so if I happen to be in a conversation, I'll suddenly end up with nothing to say, which leads to an awkard situation with me and the person I'm talking to.

Phew!

YES!
Clutter is one of my main hates. I am by no means a clean freak but I cant stand a desk which has piles of paper all over it.
Other things...
People that buy Lexus.
It shows they know nothing at all about cars, and that they feel a Lexus is by far the best car in the whole wide world - when it simply is not.
"Blingin' up" Maybachs and Phantoms.
Oh boy, this is a big one. The cars really aren't pimpable at all. The average age of a Rolls Royce owner is 35, and they are businessmen, not twenty something rappers with a chip on their shoulder.
Rumours.
Stupid things, making them up is just pathetic and telling blatently unbelievable rumours is just a complete and utter waste of time.
As for now thats it, but I'm sure I will be able to add to this later on...

My two biggest Pet Peeves:
Parking lots: Arrrgh, FOLLOW THE GODDAMN ARROWS, and park in a stall!!! I HATE HATE HATE people driving the wrong way through a parking lot, I also hate people who just stop where they are, let their wife or whoever out to go shop, and SIT THERE. It's not your personal driveway, there are people you are inconveniencing. In fact, there's this one lady who will sit in front of my kids' school for ten minutes, in the middle of the road, forcing everyone to drive around her and getting upset when they refuse to. I hate that too. In fact, people driving like idiots in general drive me up the wall. there's this one stretch of freeway where I can't set cruise, speed ranges from 80 to 55 depending on what lane you're in, and then someone is bound to cut you off if you're going fast, and do 10 MPH slower than you, or come up behind yoyu really fast.
phew, That's vented out
The other thing that sets me off is Hippocrasy. I won't rant about that

I've noticed that. We were talking about Foo Fighters's new album and you simply left the conversation. I thought you forgot, but now I see... It's kinda funny LOL.
Superfresa, do you know if you will have a beard in the future? (family inheritance) You do look like you're still young in the pics tho.
When I had like 5 hairs on my chin, ppl told me I should give them names cuz there are so few of them so I started shaving and all of a sudden a lot more grew in matter of weeks. So I guess just shaving promotes growth. Oh and try vitamin E, LOL. Shaving makes you feel like a man
Anyway something that I like to do is help ppl when they don't ask for help. One example: someone sitting next to me in class needs a sheet of paper and wants to ask somebody else for one. Before they they even ask, I've already realized they need one and reach a paper to them. It causes a weird situation, makes ppl think I'm watching them. Maybe I do it cuz I really hate asking others for anything and I think other ppl might think the same, so save them from having to make the effort of asking.
Little imperfections bother the crap out of me! For example: the new RR Phantom with the division wall. There is a tiny clock in the back that's positioned so that they had to carve out a part of the big block of wood to fit it in. If that was my car, I would take the clock out and order a new piece of wood and install it. They had to cut the wood just so they can fiy in the tiny, little clock!!!

I totally agree, especially about blingin' up Bentleys maybachs and Phantoms. I think putting new wheels is ok (keeping size in proportion), but most ppl who do that have no taste at all. They see a certain wheel that they really like and put it on the car without at all considering how the wheel SUITS the CAR.
edit: (holy sh**, this is the biggest post I've ever made!)

The Daewoo/Chevrolet Matiz, and anyone who, for whatever reason, is driving one. No words can explain it, i just explode into a fowl language rant when i see one. And people who use their blinkers AFTER they change directions.
As for irritating others, i seem to do that to same people just by being alive. I also have a strange fixation with staple removers, where i put one in my hand, behind my back, and just open-close open-close open-close for hours. I guess the noise gets to people.

Im extremely shy when it comes to girls and because of that i come out often rude to them. I think its because i have no idea what to talk to them about. If one happens to be talking about something i like or know about i join and and talk like i normally do. But if i have to say hi or start a conversation i have an extremely hard time. This seems to annoy many people.
Also people that keep arguing when they know their wrong but only do so because they cant accept their pride and admit that they were wrong
But above all fan boys of any kind. Fan boys get it threw your head the product that you so delicately worship to is not perfect and there may be better choices out there that you are oblivious to. Explore your choices, without competition we would be nowhere.

I know what you're talking about Top Secret. I can never speak to anybody new about anything...
Anyway, another of the several million things I have that annoy people is that I speak too loud apparently, and some times I interrupt even though I dont want to... Lol...
